The farm school Can Pau proposes a well planned group
of activities that you can follow during a one day visit
or during two or more journeys, the pedagogic proposal
that we intend to offer, is to reach a comprehension of the use,
customs, and traditions of the traditional farmers and the implications
of the modern agriculture, for all those reasons the major part
of the workshop that we have here stand for three F "farm-
field -forest" which is the basis of the traditional rural
catalan house. And so is the food transformation which comes from
the three places mentioned above. The rich culture and the magnificent
views of the country allows that we can add to the stay at Can
Pau some really interesting guided visits

All the workshops offer the possibility of developing specific aspects
of them ( such as the study of hen, insects forest ecology, silviculture,
wheat and the derived products from it... )
From primary
all the workshops can be completed with pedagogic and spare
time trips thanks to the magnificent monuments of l'Empordà.
Beyond them we should mention, for their importance and distance
to the farm house; the medieval city of Ullastret, the Clots
de Sant Julià, the pottery and the castle of La Bisbal,
the fish auction in Palamós...

to ask for monographic or specific studies about one of
the themes related to agriculture or farming ( the reproduction,

and planting, the forest exploitation, etc...)

San Sebastian to Calella de Palafrugell), the cork
museum of Palafrugell, sailing for the Medes islands,
the old part of Girona, the natural Park of Aiguamolls
